demonstration in support of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers in their struggle for a standard wage for picking tomatoes. Chipotle is one of the only fast food chains that have rejected the $0.01 increase per pound on their tomatoes.

good question. apparently subway and whole foods are also not paying the 1 penny per pound increase. i do know that mc donalds (chipotle's mother company) and del taco, and burger king have all succumbed to the farm workers demands, finally. this is an ongoing battle that has been under way for years.
